Since our start 3 years ago we have steadily entered the world stage, with our Shibari Rope and made to order fashion and accessories being in 21 states in the United States and 20 international countries across the world! Our biggest achievement to date!
We have started out as a small brand built on the savings from our owners time as an apprentice in the NHS (national health service) working in organisational development. This role was pivotal in his knowledge of an organisations culture, teamwork, leadership and the people that make a workplace thrive and be successful. This role helped him gain belief in his abilities to positively impact people across the globe through providing exceptional service built on 3 pillars of success and since then he has done just that.
Our 3 pillars of success are sustainability, ethical practice and exceptional quality, to ensure these pillars are adhered to we only create with 100% certified organic and natural textiles and materials that are sourced and tested by Alexander.
These 3 pillars have ensured we continuously provide a service that not only positively impacts the people that join our community but also the thousands of people within our supply chains across the globe as fashion is unfortunately a larger polluter than the airline and shipping industries combined, and has less than 2% of garment workers around the world being paid a liveable wage. Cotton farms and production facilities are rife with oppression and malpractice, with a lack of workers rights nor environmental policies in place.
This is something Alexander has set out to change and with your help we are succeeding! Thanks to you and our wider community we are positively impacting those previously met with oppression, higher rates of disease such as cancer due to handling carcinogenic substances and negative health outcomes for the wider communities within the area of production facilities.
